#Realtek pcie wireless lan driver windows 10 not working drivers#
checked for updated drivers both through device properties as well as going directly to HP's website, detecting my devices and manually reinstalling drivers from there. uninstalled all network devices on my laptop manually as well as automatically though the network reset option on Windows 10 turning off/unplugging for a few minutes and then restarting it, forgot the network and tried connecting to it again, reset the router through the Xfinity xFi app) Tried all standard connectivity troubleshooting with the router itself (i.e. I can connect to my home WIFI on other laptops, iPhone, iPad, Amazon Fire etc, just not this laptop. I can connect via Ethernet and I can connect to my phone's hot spot WIFI from my computer's WIFI connections, just not my home WIFI. So, theoretically it isn't an issue there *WIFI Network is WPA2 which I am presuming the iPhone hot spot that does work is as well. *My network card is a Realtek RTL8822BE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter When I try to reconnect to the network, I put in the network password again (yes, it is the correct password and network) my computer turns off and on its wireless capabilities while it is trying to connect and when it turns back on, it continues to try to connect and then tells me it can't connect to the network.

It started off with randomly displaying an npcap network device that appeared to be interfering with Wifi so first I tried disabling that (which didn't work), then I completely uninstalled npcap and removed the device and the connectivity issue with connecting to WIFI continues.

I was working yesterday and all of a sudden I can no longer connect to my home WIFI network.
